Some technical stuff

Show here is a fairly typical lighting and irrigation control center, that is usually located in the basement of our clients homes.

-The 2 brown boxes on the left are lighting transformers, this project has a total of 900watts of low voltage lighting power (a fairly big installation for Calgary yards)

- The grey box in the center is the relay switch that allows the irrigation PC controller to switch the lights off and on, using the weather network for scheduling sun-up and sun-down times.

- The grey and blue box on the Right is the irrigation controller, which is programmed via wireless remote, from the clients home computer, using the weather network to adjust the sprinkler schedule using the weather forecast. This particular installation uses 10 irrigation zones watering all grass, tree and garden bed areas of the yard.

- This installation required running a new electrical circuit, on the far right.

New addition to the family

We received our Cat 257b2 Multi Terrain Loader today.

Our attachments are as follows

- 66" smooth bucket
- 66" toothed bucket
- Hydraulic Auger control
- 9" Auger bit
- 12" Auger bit
- 36" tapered tree Auger bit
- Pallet forks
- 2000lb material handler arm

All these items are nicely towed on a 18' Load trail 14000lb car hauler trailer

We are very excited as this new machine allows us to tackle even bigger and more complex projects.

Just a few more bits, rain please go away!!

Bel-Aire - we have completed the irrigation, lighting and all the major parts of the project and just as we are about to finish, splash, a big rain hits and hinders our completion schedule. We are supposed to be moved on to Evergreen, but the recent weather has pushed us back a few days.
Even so, this project is one we are very proud of as the construction has gone incredibly smooth, despite the early season weather woes.

Today is Tuesday, Tomorrow is Wednesday and Grass comes Thursday...

We are in the final stages of construction in Bel-Aire. This is the hardest part of the project, the part where there are 100 little things to finish. It's called the final 5% and LeeDavid Landscapes focuses on this to make sure there are no let-downs or little naggy things left over at the end of the project.
Updated photos and a reminder of where we started.

Big Day

We had an incredible day, all 5 of us working in unison to get a major patio installed. Starting at 8am with a prepped base, to completion at 7:30pm. Our team did a great job and everyone was happy it was over.

The colors will come out once the polymeric bonding sand has been washed through the joints.
