Some technical stuff

Show here is a fairly typical lighting and irrigation control center, that is usually located in the basement of our clients homes.

-The 2 brown boxes on the left are lighting transformers, this project has a total of 900watts of low voltage lighting power (a fairly big installation for Calgary yards)

- The grey box in the center is the relay switch that allows the irrigation PC controller to switch the lights off and on, using the weather network for scheduling sun-up and sun-down times.

- The grey and blue box on the Right is the irrigation controller, which is programmed via wireless remote, from the clients home computer, using the weather network to adjust the sprinkler schedule using the weather forecast. This particular installation uses 10 irrigation zones watering all grass, tree and garden bed areas of the yard.

- This installation required running a new electrical circuit, on the far right.
